In 2023 we tried new things and were also confronted with new challenges. The spring started with excitement as we launched our Growing West Coast Gardeners Program and the school garden thrived. The summer drought provided bittersweet teaching moments—some plants loved it, but many others suffered. Undeterred, the returning students in the fall made the best of what survived and planted anew, just as gardeners do! We're proud of what we created with the community in 2023.
