We are growing gardeners

Gardens connect us to nourishing food, they provide spaces for play and enjoyment, and they create a sense of community. We believe that fresh, healthy, sustainably grown food should be accessible to all. Sharing knowledge and providing resources for growing, preserving and preparing food builds a healthier and more resilient community.

  • Deliver free and subsidized food literacy and garden programming to children, youth and seniors in our community

  • Provide free and subsidized grow local resources to our community, including online materials, workshops, and events

  • Engage in advocacy for food security and garner support for community growing initiatives on the west coast

  • Create opportunities for building social connectedness through our programs and volunteerism

  • Provide fair, living wages to our staff and contractors
